In 90-degree weather, the attic temperature with a simulated cedar shake aluminum roof was almost 30 degrees cooler than one with asphalt shingles. This might result in considerably less cooling load on your central air conditioner.



A tremendous advantage to metal roofs is that they are fireproof.
