Conversely, statistics show an increase in the number of homeowners who are looking to perform a home improvement type renovation. Bathroom remodeling and kitchen remodeling increased marginally by half of a percent and homeowners who were looking to hire a residential general contractor to carry out a basement remodel or attic remodel increased by 1.6% over September 2004.
